Review: My Sister, The Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite

This was a 4.5 star rating for me and I only deducted the 1/2 star because of how it ended. Leaving me wondering which I hate. lol I’m hoping there will be a sequel.

This story follows two sisters, one in which is a serial killer and has killed 3 of her boyfriends but has yet to have been caught (thanks to her big sister Korede). Korede seems to have plenty of love for her sister and excuses her bad behavior until she personally becomes the victim of the hurt her sister caused. Korede has protected her sister and covered up these murders but when Ayoola makes a surprise visit to Korede’s job at the hospital and captures the attention of Korede’s long time crush, Dr. Tade, she begins to get jealous of the attention Tade gives Ayoola. Attention she (Korede) has been seeking from him for years. She even tries to warn the doctor of her sisters evil ways but fails at every attempt.

Overall this book kept me in suspense the entire time. Definitely a cute, comedic thriller. Just wish it gave me more closure in the end.
