Review: Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

OMG! What a cute little book! I just absolutely adored Simon and I was happy to read this in celebration of Pride Month. I’m certain that there are so many people in the LGBTQ+ community that struggle with issues similar to Simon’s and it’s nice to see books that openly shed light on them.

Simon was such a sweet kid, I hated to see him mistreated and blackmailed like he was, but it was necessary to make the story what it was. There were so many good parts that kept me intrigued, especially his secret love interest. It was nice to watch a romance develop between the two although they’ve never quite met one another.

Overall this was a cute little YA read that kept me on my toes. I definitely look forward to reading the follow up book about one of the main characters, Leah (Leah On The Offbeat). Gave this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
