Review: Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

This book was nothing short of incredible. I’m not really a fantasy type of gal (and this was my first read of this particular genre) but I think I’ve found a winner in this book and will definitely be reading more fantasy novels in the near future.

Tomi’s sense of imagination and bringing this story to life was simply remarkable. Most of the book kept you on your toes wondering what was going to happen next and what danger lies ahead. I loved the blossoming romances between the 4 main characters and even the friendships that had no choice but to develop over the course of the story. Stuck between loving and hating your enemies all at once but knowing that you need to rely on them in order to make your mission happen. This is a great YA novel that brings so much growth and development throughout the story. I really fell in love with each of the characters along the way.

Overall I rated this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It deserved every bit of this rating! I look forward to the sequel of this book. I feel like there’s so much more of this story left to be told!
