Review: The Mothers by Brit Bennett

**Spoilers***

This book started off slow, yet still interesting. I was exactly sure how it would all unfold and the role that each character would play. By the time I hit chapter 11, things really began to heat up! Things I didn’t see coming at all.

I rated this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I had a love the relationship with just about EVERY character in this book. A lot of the happenings in this book could have been avoided had Nadia and Luke just stopped being so stubborn and spoken up about their relationship and professed the love they have for one another from the beginning. I feel like neither one of them ended up with their happily ever after and poor Aubrey was stuck in the middle of all their mess. Wish I had some more closure on what happened to the characters afterwards. Maybe a sequel?
