Review: The Mother of Black Hollywood by Jenifer Lewis

I had the opportunity to listen to this one via Audiobook and I absolutely LOVED her memoir!! Jenifer is so real and raw in her book and I loved how vulnerable she got with is. I’ve always loved Jenifer as an actress but it was nice to hear about her life and her come up.

She’s an extremely talented human being and I’ve been fortunate enough to witness many of her works but I had no idea that she was the singer that she is so I’ll definitely have to visit her mentioned performances. Jenifer has been through a lot in her life and faced a lot of difficulty while trying to become successful but she conquered it all, including her battle with her bipolar disorder.

If you’re looking for a memoir that will make you mostly laugh and maybe shed a tear or two, this is your book! Definitely recommend this one for all and rated it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
