Review: The Perfect Find by Tia Williams

I loved every bit of the story and it’s because the Piscean hopeless romantic in me eats these types of romance novels up. It’s also because as a single woman having to start my life over after being with someone my entire adult life, I just wanted to see Jenna win.

The storyline was cute and I never expected to see her fall head over heels with someone who’s 18 years her junior but I couldn’t help but swoon over this awkward and unexpected (amongst outsiders) love affair. It opens up your mind to the possibilities. Sometimes we view the idea of love as being so cookie cutter when it’s actually the complete opposite. There is one specific way to fall in love, nor is there a rulebook of who you should fall in love with. After some hesitation, I was glad to see Jenna open up her mind and her heart to experience something real. Someone who absolutely cherished her and couldn’t see himself without her. We all deserve that kind of love.

Darcy Vale was a character that truly got under my skin. While she needed Jenna for StyleZine, she knew that Jenna and her career needed her more and she played that to her advantage. When Darcy discovers her arch nemesis is having a love affair with her one and only son, she sets out to ruin Jenna’s world only to have to backfire in her face. And I loved every bit of it. Darcy finally got her “just desserts”.

The ending was much of a surprise to me. Never expected a pregnancy to happen but at the same time I was super excited for Jenna. When they kept calling the child “The Baby” rather than by his name and after Jenna had a moment of queasiness in her last moments with Eric, I just knew that the baby had to be his. While she couldn’t have 100% of Eric in her life, she would now carry a piece of him with her every day.

Overall I absolutely loved this book! I have it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 stars. I probably would have rated it higher had there not been so many typos. This was my kind of story and the perfect romance novel for me to kick of the summer with. If you’re a sucka for romance…GO READ THIS BOOK!
